Ministry Projects

Connect with God and Each Other at Trinity

  • Our Daily Bread. We help to serve the hot meal for our neighbors in need - 9-11:30am. Check our calendar for the dates — one Thursday each month and one Saturday every other month. We collect non-perishable foods weekly to benefit underserved and homeless individuals and families. The last full weekend of each month we collect a "Noisy Offering" to help ODB provide a daily hot meal and to stock their Loaves & Fishes pantry for their homeless and food-insecure clients.

  • Quilting and knitting. Our TLCQ’s gather at 1pm on Mondays from October-May to make beautiful quilts and lap robes to distribute at least twice each year to organizations serving folks whose lives need warmth and the knowledge that there are those who care about them. The group also makes lots of knit caps for seafarers served by Anchor House at Port Manatee.

  • Trinity is a member of S.T.R.E.A.M. - Manatee County’s Justice Ministry. STREAM (Stronger Together Reaching Equality Across Manatee) is a nonpartisan, grassroots organizing group uniting faith communities to answer the call to seek justice and solve critical community problems. The key issues addressed in 2025-26 are Youth Mental Health, Affordable Housing. For more information, visit the S.T.R.E.A.M. website. To become involved through Trinity, contact Pastor Kerri 941-301-0691.

  • Assisting early elementary students at Prine Elementary who are struggling in school. We assist Prine’s youngest students to become successful readers! Our volunteers walk alongside students who are struggling by providing one-on-one assistance. As we are needed, Trinity folks go to Prine, one time each week, to help a student. This program was developed by Trinity and Prine Principal Greg Sander to help students who need assistance. For more information or to volunteer for the team, please contact the church office.
