Connect with God and Each Other at Trinity
2026 Habitat for Humanity Faith Build
Trinity’s Venture Team schedules work days for TLC folks and friends to help with construction and finishing projects. For information, contact the church office. We also raise funds ($5000 goal this month) to support this new home for a family who takes part in the build that will provide affordable housing in safe, stable environments.
The TLC Venture Team arranges opportunities for TLC volunteers to assist other charitable organizations who care for those in need in our community.
On-going ministry activities:
Our Daily Bread. We help to serve the hot meal for our neighbors in need - 9-11:30am. Check our calendar for the Thursday and Saturday dates. We also collect non-perishable foods year-round to benefit underserved and unsheltered individuals and families. The last full weekend of each month we collect a "Noisy Offering" to help ODB provide a daily hot meal and stock their Loaves & Fishes pantry for their food-insecure clients.
Quilting and knitting. On Mondays at 1pm, October to May, our “TLC Q’s” gather to make beautiful quilts and lap robes they distribute to organizations serving folks whose lives need warmth and the knowledge that there are those who care about them.
Trinity is a member of S.T.R.E.A.M. - Manatee County’s Justice Ministry. STREAM (Stronger Together Reaching Equality Across Manatee) is a nonpartisan, grassroots organizing group uniting faith communities to answer the call to seek justice and solve critical community problems. The key issues currently are Youth Mental Health, Affordable Housing and Pre-arrest diversion for non-violent, minor offenses. For more information or become involved through Trinity, contact Pastor Kerri 941-301-0691.
Assisting early elementary students at Prine Elementary who are struggling in school. We assist Prine’s youngest students to become successful readers by providing one-on-one assistance. This program was developed by Trinity and Prine Principal Greg Sander to help students who need assistance. For more information or to volunteer for the team, please contact the church office.
