      You are invited to take part in all of Trinity’s Faith Formation activities designed to provide fellowship and faith formation for individuals and families of all ages – across the generations (Cross-Gen).  NO RSVP OR FEE required to take part, unless noted. Camp Remix

Pastor Kerri and Student Minister Lily Edwards led five middle schoolers as they completed several creative projects during VBS Week 2026. For one project, we collaborated to make our own illuminated manuscript like the ones made by medieval monks before the printing press was invented. You can see our manuscript on display at Trinity and read it for yourself, and you can watch this video about it.

Another project involved creating a mashup of two songs: “Peace Like a River” and “She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain.” We learned that both songs got their start as African-American spirituals and that the “she” who will be comin’ round the mountain is Jesus’ chariot when he returns to Earth someday. We all figured out how to sing or play different instruments, and we made this recording so everyone can listen.

What if Lutherans were cats? We imagined some answers to that provocative question and made some interesting observations about what it means to live as a Lutheran. Check out our video.

Weekly Faith Formation activities:

Youth and folks of all ages gather on Saturdays at 4:30 for some fun activities related to the day’s Scripture or a Bible story. Enjoy this video created by the JOY Team explaining how to receive Holy Communion and why it’s important.
